There's no place like Queensland, and especially the beautiful Toowoomba and Darling Downs. We are spoilt for choice when it comes to backdrops and locations for photography.

Here are my favourite locations for photography in Toowoomba and the Darling Downs. 

 

Botanical Gardens, Queens Park

Always amazing and ever changing, the botanical gardens at Queens Park, Toowoomba offer some beautiful spots. A sure favourite for couples and families alike. 

 

Jondaryan Woolshed

If sheds, corrugated iron, gravel roads and heritage buildings are you thing, you cant go past the Jondaryan Woolshed. So much texture to play with, you're guaranteed time top shots here!

 

Boyce Gardens, Toowoomba

A hidden gem, the Boyce Gardens, Toowoomba make for a location that is intimate and full of variety. This one is definitely on my list of favourites. 

 

The Mills Precinct, Toowoomba

Gaining in popularity, the recently opened Mills Precinct, Toowoomba offers backdrops that are a bit different. An up and coming popular spot, that's for sure. 

 

Country Lanes.

There's something so relaxing about taking a stroll in the country. And you don't have to head far out of Toowoomba to find a quiet country land to do just that. Time your photos for dusk, and you won't be disappointed. Location sorted!

Explore the Toowoomba CBD to find unique and quirky alleyways. A great location if you're after bold colour, Toowoomba's alleyways are never short of amazing as a backdrop for your photos.
